The following tax rates apply to all new and used passenger vehicles purchased on or after March 23, 1994. 

Purchase Price Tax Rate Less than
$32,000  -  7% 

$32,000 or more, but less than 
$33,000  -  8% 

$33,000 or more, but less than
$34,000  -  9% 

$34,000 or more-10%
